Colleton is known for holding the Annual Rice Festival. It's an event that features Arts, crafts, food, fireworks, music and other entertainment. Rice arrived in 1685 and it helped create enormous wealth. So during the Rice Festival they celebrate the heritage of rice and how it blessed the county.
